Mr. Rodgers started in the telecommunications business in February 1974, has been a sales rep for ITT Terryphone, was branch manager in Oklahoma City in 1975 and a district manager for all of Oklahoma in 1977. He started Guaranteed Communications in 1980 in Dallas. It built up to $4 million in annual revenues by 1984. He sold out to a partner in 1986. He was a sales manager for Centel in 1987 and a general manager for WilTel in 1990.

Credentials: Hired in October 1994, he has been in the communication industry approximately 32 years. He also has 2 ½ years of college experience. Nelson has had numerous specialized training courses over the years, all in the communication field. He has one son and three grandsons. He is also a judge for AKC dog shows. He is currently licensed to judge all working dogs, all hound dogs, best in show and junior showmanship. He was invited to judge at a show in Holland at the end of May 2005.
