Radcom Technologies, Inc., or "RTI," opened its door in December of 1986. We are telecommunications specialists, accomplished at identifying and solving business challenges with cost-effective solutions that increase both productivity and income. Our team designs and supports integrated voice and data systems for the new millennium.
Company History
1986 – RTI - Radcom Technologies, Inc., founded by Richard Raadt (RAD), chairman and chief operating officer. A one-man show out of the third bedroom – sell by day, install by night and service by appointment.
1987 – Radcom Technologies, Inc., becomes agent for Progressive Concepts, a Southwestern Bell Cellular distributor.
Radcom Technologies, Inc., becomes a certified dealer of Comdial Corporation.
1988 – Radcom Technologies, Inc., relocates to its new offices at 9221 LBJ Freeway.
Radcom Technologies, Inc., becomes a Sub Chapter S Corporation.
1989 – Radcom Technologies, Inc., adds the Intertel Premier to its product offering. Southwestern Bell Telephone awards Radcom Technologies, Inc., 'Top Producer Award.'
1990 – Radcom Technologies, Inc., becomes member of Dallas Business Association.
1991 – Radcom Technologies, Inc., is recognized as the #12 Premier dealer out of 225 Premier dealers nationwide in system sales. The increased growth is attributed to the addition of the voice-mail product and the hiring of a top Premier technician.
1992 – Radcom Technologies, Inc., creates the vice president position to manage and support the expanding operations staff and customer base, allowing Mr. Raadt to expand the sales effort.
1993 – Radcom Technologies, Inc., awarded Top 50 Fastest Dallas / Fort Worth Growing Companies.
Radcom Technologies, Inc., becomes Toshiba certified dealer.
1994 – Radcom Technologies, Inc., passes the $3 million mark in sales. Radcom Technologies, Inc., becomes Mitel Elite Dealer.
Active Voice becomes the voice-mail system of choice for Radcom Technologies, Inc.
1995 – Radcom Technologies, Inc., signs exclusive agreement with Active Voice Corporation, Toshiba America and Mitel Corporation.
Radcom Technologies, Inc., adopts 401K retirement program.
1996 – Radcom Technologies, Inc., hires Novell CNE and becomes Novell reseller.
Toshiba and Active Voice achieve number three in market share in key telephone systems and voice-mail systems respectively in the United States.
Radcom Technologies, Inc., invests heavily in becoming a computer company. R & D in the computer telephony arena is our highest priority.
1997 – Radcom Technologies, Inc., hires outside marketing company to educate the company on growth and how to manage it. Human Development Company assists us by empowering employment staff.
1998 – Radcom Technologies, Inc., becomes employee owned. IBM and Dell become the exclusive computing product brands offered. Radcom Technologies, Inc., becomes a Microsoft Solutions Provider. Radcom Technologies, Inc., becomes IBM E-commerce partner with a Lotus Notes dealership.
1999 – Radcom Technologies, Inc., becomes a Microsoft Solution Provider and expands the CTI department.
2000-2006 – Radcom Technologies, Inc., has provided superior service and installations for our current client base as well as becoming a national support for Corvel Corporation, Insurance Overload (DBA: American Multiline) and Kelly Moore Paint, to mention just a few.
